Mid-engined V8, naturally aspirated.

The C8 moved the Corvette's engine behind the driver and left it naturally aspirated: 6.2 litres, pushrods, 495 horsepower. It is the most attainable naturally aspirated V8 supercar on sale, and the one with the most to gain from losing the factory silencing.

Engineering

Catted downpipes into an X-pipe and valve-controlled rear sections, burnt titanium end to end, on quad tips. With no turbine in the way, header and silencer choices reach your ears directly here in a way they never do on a turbocharged car.
