The F8 carries the 488 Pista's 720 cv V8 almost unchanged, titanium connecting rods and Inconel manifolds included, at 8,000 rpm. It is the last of Maranello's pure turbocharged V8s before the hybrids arrived, and the most highly strung of them.

Engineering

Heat-shielded catted downpipes into a true X-pipe, valve-controlled through to twin burnt titanium tips. Ferrari already runs Inconel in the manifolds here, so the ground a full titanium system gains downstream is in mass and back pressure rather than heat.
