605 horsepower at 9,000 rpm from 4.5 litres, and at the time the highest specific output of any road-going naturally aspirated engine Maranello had built. Nothing sits between the combustion and your ears.

Engineering

Heat-shielded headers and catted downpipes feed valve-controlled rear silencers. A naturally aspirated engine has no turbine damping its pulses, so header geometry and back pressure change what you hear far more here than on anything forced induction.
