A folding hardtop is only worth the mechanism if there is something to hear once it is stowed. The Portofino has 600 PS from a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 and a factory system tuned for the neighbours.

Engineering

Catted front pipes into a true X, then valve-controlled rear silencers on quad tips. The valves give you the civility the standard car has and the noise it does not.
