Naturally aspirated, valve-controlled.

Four litres, six cylinders, no turbochargers, 502 horsepower and 9,000 rpm. The 992 GT3's engine comes across from Porsche's racing programme close to unchanged, and it rewards a system that gets out of its way.

Engineering

Equal-length headers and catted sections run into a valved X-pipe and centre silencer, on twin burnt titanium tips. Left in bare titanium rather than wrapped, so the finish is the material itself.
